if only the Rapture myth were to come true **wistful sigh** and when Jesus returned to take his followers to heaven he took all the other contentious sibling children of his father with him too.

just imagine this planet without the Christians, Jews and Muslims squabbling all the time. paradise.

PS. hehehe! read these Christians as they gleefully gloat over how they'll escape the horrors of the end of the world while everyone else screams. yep.. these are the sort of folks Jesus would want to hang out with for an eternity. i'm sure of it.

No, I agree with you that's the most believable part. A world without Christians in it certainly would be more peaceful.

The question is, where are you getting this information from? If you read Revelations from chapter 1 to the end, you'll see that the Christians are called up by parusia in the middle of Satan's wrath against believers. There is no world peace when parusia occurs. After parusia, God unveils His wrath against the rest of the people left over.

Actually there'd first be panic. 2 billion people just vanishing into thin air? That's not something you'd see normally.

Next is the peace. All united under the Anti-Christ, who is supposed to be a good leader.

Then comes the trumpets and bowls and seals of doom. Stars fall from the heavens and everyone on Earth is cast into an eternal lake of fire, while God builds his new kingdom on Earth.

It's not so much world peace, but genocide.

World peace will breakout for only 7 years, then the worst war and turmoil that the world has ever seen will last for many many years. I promise that I am not making this up!!!! Ezekiel and recelation explain it all perfectly clear!

No. Peace will come after Christ comes back, but before that the anti-christ will rule and total chaos will dominate the world.
I don't see why you have to come into the religious section and belittle people for what they beleive. I don't see christians insulting your beleifs, so grow up, loser!
