For example, last night my mother told me I was going to have a baby sister! :) And I don't even care about the age difference because I can't wait to have something to adore over!!! :*

prayer does work. all of my prayers have been answered which is why i am here today in the situation that i am in. u shouldnt test god and expect for him to deliever what u want when you want it. this is how so many people loose faith. somethings may not be in your best interest and u only find that out later that what u were praying for wasnt good for you.

I think you've had a lot of luck in your life. Some people don't.

Some people pray and get lucky, too. Some people pray and don't.

Much of life is playing the best we can with the hand of cards we've been dealt. And if you do that well, you can feel lucky, even if other people would never want to be you.

Congratulations on having a new member of your family.

Prayer doesn't work. When was the last time prayer restored an amputee's limb? There was a 50/50 chance of you getting a sister, and it worked out in your favor, that's all. Congratulations.

In fact, in the latest scientific study, not praying worked better than telling people they were going to be prayed for and then praying for them.

you're just lucky I guess. Or maybe God sees fit to bless you, and He doesn't care whether you prayed for something directly to Him or not, and just wants to fulfill your wishes. Anyway, congratulations!
