I have stopped smoking and cant stop coughing. i dont mind but it does distube me at at night. i have tried sleeping high, but cant get comfy, anyone got any tips please

Hot milk and whiskey before you go to bed, may want a lil sugar to sweeten it up a bit tho. Helps you sleep and soothes your throat

Try taking an over the counter cough suppressant like you would for a cold. It'll help you sleep too. Congratulations on quitting smoking! Best wishes.

WELL DONE you have done great you will have a cough for a while my sister did when she stopped it will go some lemon, ribena and honey in hot water will help to sooth it keep up the good work

The cough will go soon. It's just the tiny hairs in your lungs picking themselves up after being glued down with so much tar!
Try Tixylix Nightime......it's for kids......but I've taken it before and it's very good.

The coughing will eventually pass.
Your lungs are cleaning themselves of the gunk you've inhaled by smoking.

Sip honey and hot water , The cough will soon disappear its just your lungs clearing themselves of all that gunk

It will last for 1 week to a month depends on how much you were smoking
Mine lasted about a month, but I was doing 5 packs a day

It takes a week or two for that to get out of your system. Not everyone gets it. I didn't.
The only thing that you can do is wait it out. If it's any consolation, it will be over soon.

the cough will last a good while but will eventually go and your lungs will be as good as ever persevere it will be worth it

sorry,i had the same,thats the medals the smoking
heroes get.3-4 weeks will be like that and then you will feel like new.
