If your doctor tells you it needs to be removed. Some symptoms of appendicitis:
abdominal pain
fever
bloating
High WBC count
If you are having any doubt, call your doctor even if it's off hours.

The only reason to remove the appendix is if you get appendicitis. Then the doctor will make the diagnosis and reccommend removal. This is usually an emergency procedure as it has to be removed before it ruptures and causes peritonitis-inflamation and infection of the entire abdominal cavity.

If the dr tell you you need to have it removed then you do. Go to ER if you are having issues with pain.

u will suddenly have horrible abdomen pain, a high fever, vomiting,nausea, and malaise. u also need to be diagnosed by a dr. for appendicitis.
