You could try Sun-In or lemon juice, but this could be very drying so get a very good deep conditioner (maybe a cholesterol kind) and don't shampoo too often (you don't have to anyway if you don't have oily hair). The Sun-In is best if you blow dry your hair b/c it is heat activated, or good in the summer when you go outside b/c then the heat from the sun activates it. Sun-In you can get from the drug store, I don't think it's too expensive. Lemon juice you can just buy from the grocery store or use an actual lemon. With light brown hair, you should get blonder, mine does that. If it were darker it would become a weird reddish. You can do your whole head or focus on highlights, either way makes your hair look lighter, I go for highlights.

You could try lemon juice and sun or Sun In, but if you have a lot of red in your hair, be aware that you might end up with "carrots".
Be sure to condition your hair a lot because both of these are drying. We used to buy Kolesterol in the black hair products and apply it at night and leave it in until morning then shampoo it out. It conditions really well.
We would also apply it when we went to the beach or the pool to protect it from the sun and fun. Be sure to french braid because it makes caucasian hair greasy or oily but at the water, everyone will just think you went for a swim whether you did or not.

I would avoid peroxide or Sun-in. It will probably make your hair an unnatural, brassy color.
Try a semi-permanent hair color kit from the drug store. That is, one that washed out after a number of shampoos. That way you're not "married to it," in case you don't like it. I think there's one called color spa.
They are not very expensive, watch for sales or coupons.

i'm no longer particular if it truly is going to take your hair all the thanks to white, yet you are able to try solar-In. i comprehend it really is at Walmart for particular. basically thoroughly conceal your hair with it and spend the subsequent 2 days contained in the solar, reapplying as a lot as achieveable. do not wash your hair for those 2 days--your hair will be fairly a lot white be the end of both days, as long as you spend the completed 2 days contained in the solar.
