We have been off and on all year and when we first started going out it went really fast and all of a sudden he said he wanted a break. Basically we didnt speak to each other for a month and then got back together and it has been really great. Except he wont kiss me. I've told him I want him to and he said that he doesnt know how so he's nervous and has been avoiding it. But we're both 17 and shouldnt he want to be kissing me! I'm always afraid that he just doesnt want to be with me but he tells me he likes me so is he just nervous or should it be over? How do I get him to relax and make it fun for him? I just want a good make out session but I cant even get a peck on the cheek. Someone help me.

I think he really does care about you and he's simply nervous. Maybe you should make the first move and kiss him. He's definitely interested (he is a guy you know), but he's worried that he will mess up. Of course he wants to impress you. Good luck.

That sounds odd. Everyone instinctively knows how to kiss. BUT maybe someone told him he sucked and now he is scared. Maybe you should put on a movie where the guy and girl are making out all hot and heavy and say something like "oh, that looks fun, want to try it? I hope I can kiss like that." If you show some insecurity, he might get the confidence up to try. If you say "I'm the best kisser ever", you will only scare him.

Hes probley telling you the truth that he dosent know how and hes just scared that he will do something wrong and you wouldnt want to kiss him anymore why dont you take the initiative and kiss him when he least expects it and mabey that will change things for the both of you! Best of luck

It sounds like he is just nervous and shy.. if he's never kissed a girl before he is probably afraid he will be bad at it which could be embarrassing... Try taking initative and kissing him and seeing what happens, maybe it will give him a little push :)

If he didn't like you then he wouldn't be sticking around with you. he's obviously nervous like he said. i think you just need to calm him down and tell it's nothing to think about. maybe you should tell him that's you'll try kissing him and see if he starts kissing back. maybe it'll make him feel more comfortable.
