OMG! lol i have had my drivers license for about two years now so shut the heck up about maturity. geeze.
IT was just to satisfy my curiosity. haha im not mature.
ive been living on my own since i was 15, payin my own bills bought and paid for my own vehicles, and i make more then my mom and probably you too. so dont go there with maturity you dont know a thing!

I do not remember the program, but there was actually a news story a few days ago about some guys who did this. There is no law against it that I've ever heard of (though there are some strange laws out there), but the licensing authority may refuse to issue a license until you get a new picture or might recall one they sent you. You'd probably tick off the photographer a lot, too.

usually a drivers license depicts a certain maturity level
If you were my child wanting this question answered I would say you are not mature enough to drive and you would ride the bus one more year. and guess what?

I don't think you can get in trouble for that. But you would have to make the exact same goofy face whenever you were ID'ed. That would lead to premature wrinkles. So think about the wrinkles.

No. They'd probably just ask to do it again. It's in your best interest to have a good (or at least recognizable) picture in case you ever use it for ID.

No, but you would probably have to take another picture. I think I might try that next time I have to renew my license.
