Well, as a military wife there are a couple of ways to get out of it:
1. Be in college
2. Be an only child
3. Fail the physical exam on purpose
4. Be diagnosed as mentally unstable--try to get a doc to say you have ADD, ADHD, Anxiety issues, etc.
5. If you do get sent to boot camp, act like you can't do anything
6. I think bush got out of it with $$$$
Hope this helps.

The protests isn't as huge as Vietnam for following reasons:you are the main suitable option with regard to the draft simply by fact it delivered militia provider to those that did not purchase into that gadget interior the 1st place and understand the thank you to artwork it huge time; next the very extensive volume of your tax money going right now and circuitously into public kinfolk so the information media won't kill that golden goose; Strike 3 there's a starting to be recognition Capitalism desires wars to exist. customarily solders at the instant are not getting used yet reservists so for each product they make at the same time as not at war it now takes 3 workers.

Basically, the draft won't be reinstated, the republicans don't want a reason to stay low in congress and the democrats want to stay high in congress, it won't happen. Besides it is really unconstitutional. Also u have to take into consideration that it would be highly unpopular because as the war is going, more people/innocent people would die. And we don't want untrained soldiers fighting. But if u are worried, watch what you are a proffessional in.

"Where is it written in the Constitution, in what article or section is it contained, that you may take children from their parents, and parents from their children, and compel them to fight the battles of any war, in which the folly or the wickedness of Government may engage it? Under what concealment has this power lain hidden, which now for the first time comes forth, with a tremendous and baleful aspect, to trample down and destroy the dearest rights of personal liberty? Sir, I almost disdain to go to quotations and references to prove that such an abominable doctrine had no foundation in the Constitution of the country. It is enough to know that the instrument was intended as the basis of a free government, and that the power contended for is incompatible with any notion of personal liberty. An attempt to maintain this doctrine upon the provisions of the Constitution is an exercise of perverse ingenuity to extract slavery from the substance of a free government. It is an attempt to show, by proof and argument, that we ourselves are subjects of despotism, and that we have a right to chains and bondage, firmly secured to us and our children, by the provisions of our government."

A coward dresses up like a girl. Get educated, there is no draft. If it were to be reinstated it would be done by the Democrats.
Grow some stones and be prepared to defend this country. If you can't or are a "Scardy cat," move to Canada or Mexico.
