I really try to gain respect for you. I used to be one of you. However when you guys talk about how you would be joyful about the end of the world. I feel angry at you...... The reason is that if there is no God you will end humanity. I feel like if we had world peace you would be looking for war to achieve your biblical dooms day.(not all but some of you) I mean Christian are suppose to work for world peace!!!!!

I support aggressive US foreign policy but even i have limits and world peace is what i want for humanity more then anything.

I'm a Theist, and I don't see anything to forgive you for! I'm not a Christian, so I guess that's the reason I don't see anything wrong with your standpoint. In fact, I agree with you that it is dangerous to assume that things must go downhill before they get better. That mentality makes one tend to see the bad and think everything is just gonna get worse and worse, and they don't do anything to stop it, because they think it's "supposed" to be that way.

I don't really understand why you would care if you are "forgiven" by Christians. I as a Christian have nothing against what anyone believes, and I would love world peace. Unfortunately, that's just not in the cards until Christ returns. And although there will be some humans fighting against him, is will be more of a spiritual war between Christ and satan. And as you may guess, we will then have world peace when Christ is victorious over satan...again.

We're good a forgiving. There are radicals of every type who support what ever stupid thing comes along. There may be some radacal Christians who look forward to the end of the world but don't put us all in that catagory. American Christians give more to charity and do more to promote world peace than any other cultural group in the world.

In a majority sense, I agree with you. The worldshould be a better place because of us. (And I am not saying eliminate all others either.
I think you did discern between those wanting 'dooms day' and those that are not looking for it (so the 'bad' people get their due).
Part of the problem in USA Christianity is a lack of discernment (and action) by people between God's word and what is not God's word.
May you receive an unmistakable pleasant surprise today to God's glory!!!!!

Don't bother asking for their forgiveness. They're too busy fantasizing about their "rapture" and imagining you roasting in Hell. They'll be happy to tell you all about Hell and the agonies you'll suffer, as I'm sure you've seen. If you're lucky, you'll get a halfhearted show of "forgiveness", or at least a passing of the buck, something to the effect that it is God's or Jesus' job to forgive. With friends like that...

As a Christian, I forgive you. But, you need to repent to God for not believing In Jesus Christ the Lord.

Why do atheists insist that Christians want world war as a way to bring about judgement day? Doen't the Bible pronounce a curse upon anyone who would try to hasten God's judgement?

I don't know of any christian who believes what you say we do; you are making stuff up.

There will be world peace. When Jesus is in his rightful place. Smack dab in the city of peace (Jerusalem). I find it interesting that those that "used to be" one of "us", don't have a clue what the Bible says.
