I'm 25 and married and still sleep with a blankey. As long as she leaves it at home I don't see a problem with her having one at 12.

You think that's a problem ?

My sister is 10 and she still sleeps with our mom or she can't fall asleep and she gets really scared witihout her & won't admit she's scared .

Blankeys aren't a problem ! I'm 13 and I sleep with a stuffed bear . It's simply warm and comfy . It's not like I have some issue with bringing it everywhere or something ...

I dont think its a problem. I had a blanket until I was 15 .... all of a sudden I stopped needing it .... no idea how ... it just happend over time. I think as long as she doesnt take it with her to school or whatever its fine! Its natural and its not causing any problems to anyone! I'm sure she will grow out of it one day! Until then - let her be! :)

Just leave her alone. As long as shes not hurting anyone or taking it places. Then shes fine. Its a blanket. You put it on your bed and sleep with it at night is that a problem

so what, leave her with her blankie. its not bothering anyone if she sleeps with it for the rest of her life. its better than having her be attached to a binkie or a machete.

i think its OK as long as she just sleeps with it and like doesn't take it places or anything. she will eventually grow out of it.

I say she should keep it but try slowly push her from "needing" it. Don't do something to extreme. Thats what worked for me with my thumb sucking brother.

Leave her alone. She's not hurting herself or anyone else. Just let her be and don't worry about it.
