If so, did you do it again? Did you feel bad about it? Do you think that it says something about someone if they lie or does everyone do it?
I have a feeling that a boyfriend lied to me (his lie is stupid and I could tell that he was just making stuff up so he didn't have to explain the truth to me). He also seemed uncomfortable with what he was saying, so it was so transparent.
I don't want to deal with lying in a relationship, but I was just wondering about other people's experiences on this one.

yes I lied to my late wife.
Yes I did it again.
Yes I felt awful about it.
In my case, my lying was a symptom of my obsessive compulsive behavior.
Lying in a relaitonship is never good, and is indicative of a behaviorial dysfunction.

everyone lies about something... here is how i feel about this kinda stuff: 1. If i ask and you don't tell, then it is lying. 2. if i don't ask and you don't tell, it's not lying.
just my point of view.
you shouldn't have to deal with a lying relationship and if they lie about stupid s*** then there is no telling what they are going to lie about that could really hurt you! good luck!

I have never lied to a boyfriend or family memeber or friend. The only "lie" I told that I regret was to my best friend's mother on her death bed when she told me to get my Ph.D I told her that I would in a few years. Its been 10 years and I am totally comfortable just having my Masters degree but it bothers me that I lied to her its like I feel as though I let her down. Stupid I know

I have lied to someone because I do care about them, look honesty is only good in certain situations. Otherwise no one would be together. If you are somewhat intelligent you know when to lie and when not to.

yes many times. Sometimes you can lie to protect someone, or lie to prevent and outburst or drama. I do it when the truth would hurt or emotionally harm the other person.

yes, I have and trust me, it will come back to bite the person in the butt later on so my advice is to be upfront about things because if you lie about one thing, you have to lie about the first lie that you told and so on.....a big mess!!!!
plus, even though now i regret it, i lied to my ex about things and now am single......lol, no fun at all because i had feelings for her,

it's an unfortunate situation but if leaded up to the case yes i would lie and. i would lie very good that you or no one else would know it's a lie.

I lied to my dad about having insuarnce on my truck and I lied to him about wrecking the truck, about how much it will cost to fix it and a whole slue of other things. I like to lie to him. He deserves it.
