i went to my friends house earlier and her dog has got fleas.
she put frontline on the dog whilst i was there but i got bitten on my back 4 times.

what can i do to stop the bite itching me?

Get benedryl anti itch cream, or put calimine lotion on it.

I agree with acidity. rubbing alcohol works best. It will sting if you've scratched it hard but it works! Get yourself a cotton ball and soak it good. Put the cotton right on the bite and it will go away after a few.
Tell your friend to vaccum her carpet good. The fleas are still in the house even though the dog has been treated.

Fleas are a major pest. There are various species of fleas - cat fleas, dog fleas, rat fleas and rabbit fleas.
You can get rid of them by the safest and cheapest methods like boric acid.

Take benadryl or use a topical anti-ointment like you would for any other bug bite. You could also soak in an oatmeal bath, I like Aveeno brand products for this.

take an antihistamine and apply either some afterbite lotion on to the bite or apply a liberal coating of calamine or aloe vera lotion over and surrounding the area of the bites.

It could get infected if the itches persists. Take an anit-histermine tablet (ie piriton).

there is antihistamine creams out they are very good. i got mosquito bites in spain and put the cream on it eases the bite straight away.

tea-tree oil or lotion. works for the dogs too. but do not apply on broken skin. calamine lotion another option,dont think its quite as effective as cooling,tingling sensation of tea tree oil though.

try taking 1 Loratadine tablet(chemists),its a antihistamine.then buy yourself a tube of eurax anti itching cream(chemists) and you`ll thank me forever.
