I was told to write a paper about a hero in English class and the hero had to have tried to make life better for others, and take risks, so I chose Jesus Christ. My teacher said i can't make my paper all about religion though so i need to know how has Jesus changed the world (without looking at the miracles he performed).
I know he gave millions of people something to believe in, but is there anything else you can think of?

For starters your teacher cant put restrictions on your paper when it comes to religion.
1) Without Christ you would not have America the way it is because the Pilgrims and most of the forefathers where Christians.
2) It was the followers of Christ that got rid of slavery.
3) Christ opened the door to women rights.
4) Red Cross
5) Salvation Army

I guess I would probably include things that have happened as a product of people believing in Him. You could give examples of Christian charities that help people, or even stories of individual people who have turned their lives around for Him. You might also be able to find important people or leaders who follow Him, and live accordingly.
