...then why has he watched millions of people die in genocides and has done nothing about it?

Does "God" favor certain groups of people?

Done nothing about it? You mean BESIDES sending his own son to die for the evil that is done by men of their own free will?

If God were to require your compliance and never give you the choice to be with him or not then that would not be love. That would be you being there without a choice.

Which would you rather have:

The option to choose God or not

OR

NO option, but God saying you must do what I say.

Secondly, Which of those is love. Think carefully how you would want your spouse to answer about you before you answer this one.

in my opinion (and that's all anyone has) "God" doesn't favor anyone or anything. "God", IMO, is no more emotionally involved with what happens on this planet than is the sun. the only "God" favoring this person or group over that person or group is "God" manifesting as humanity. humans, of course, favor themselves and those who resemble themselves and that's why every culture's religion claims to be the "chosen ones".
everyone chooses themselves.

u say that you are an atheist but acknowledge that he watches down on people? u dont seem like an atheist to me champ. if God loves everyone as they are, why doesnt he convert all the non believers to make them believe in him? why doesnt he show himself to all the cynics and end the war between the believers and non believers? how come christians can only feel god? i thought he loved everyone the way they are.

Don't forget crusades.

The christians that invaded Muslim territory not only tried to convert them: they also killed their innocent children.
