Main tip is to recognize that this project of straight As is going to mean strategy from the beginning. Don't take a tougher course than you can safely conquer. That is, don't try to jump over prerequisites and like that. Plan to spend more study time on the areas where you need the most, and resign yourself to a pretty limited social life while the push is on.

You do need breaks, but for the most part, they had better be with people who are pretty academically oriented themselves, and spend most of the time talking about your classes. Find at least one person in each of your classes who can be a real "study buddy," but don't make that a cover for a romantic interlude. Save that for after exams.

If you are doing this at a good school, and you have the support of some good teachers, you should be able to handle it. Remember to breathe; and get good sleep and nutrition, because the brain demands much if it's going to work that hard, just like muscles do. You may also want to learn yoga and/or meditation, to keep yourself well focused and centered.

Good luck and God bless.

maybe extra credit or something. If you do really well from now until the end of the year then your grades will automatically go up to A's so make sure you study for tests and retake anything you can. always get the homework for the day when you are absent so you dont have to do double the next day. good luck!

One suggestion: talk to your teachers and ask them what they think you could do better to earn an A rather than a B. Get them to show you what caused you to lose the points that gave you the B. Was it tests, projects, homework, writing, etc? Then you can adjust what you're doing accordingly.

Good luck and congrats on your motivation :)
