I live in California and met a woman from the phillipines , so there are no other partys involved just her and I , she said it is a ton of money and I dont understand why? including or noty including travel expenses can someone offer me a better understanding of this?

hi there, not sure what you mean by cost but if you do things the legal way, there are expenses involved with the immigration paperwork. apart from travel expenses, it probably costs about $1500 to get to the point of her having approval to be married to you and live with you in the u.s. check with your closest immigration (homeland security) office or check online. also there are immigration lawyers who can help you through the process.

She is probably a scamer .. there are a whole bunch of them working the internet. They will tell u everthing u want to hear then comes the money issue. it could be for a sick mother or a mothers b-day party. Make sure that u go there to meet her and make arrangments without giving her any money or the chance to refund anything u bought like airline tickets..good luck
