Yes, I think it is a sin. We are not supposed to put stumbling blocks in the way of our brothers (Romans 14:13).

I think men should learn to be responsible for their own behavior and lust. Having said that, I do believe in being modest and leaving something to the imagination. Maybe that is just as enticing to some men.
May God Bless you.

I'll just say I think we should dress modestly - you know, so that if the Savior suddenly showed up you wouldn't feel weird or too exposed.
Sometimes, even when you're very well covered, guys will still lust, and that's not the girls fault.

No, each man (or woman) is responsible for their own sin. Some men would lust after a woman if she came to church in a flannel robe and slippers.
That being said, I don't think that it's a great choice to make to come to church in tight revealing clothes. It can be a distraction, not just to men but to other women too.
But for them to be "responsible" for a man sinning, no. It just doesn't work that way.
Thank God! :)

I think it is a sin if you are extreme about it, wearing see through lace or whatever, but it is not an excuse for leering men! It is still a sin to lust and it is not ok just because a girl is wearing a tight top.
But I don't think women have to be OVERLY modest, cuz there is no need for us to be ashamed of our bodies, just don't be a temptation to men.

I don't think it's necessarily a sin, but I think women do have a responsibility to make sure they are dressed appropriately. Come on women, we have some responsibility to act appropriately if we don't want the men coming on to us.

Yes, I think it is. We should dress modestly. That doesn't mean we can't be stylish; (I have two daughters who are always trying to get my clothes out of me...lol), but we should NOT be going around looking like we are going to the beach, with our belly exposed, and cleavage showing; looking like we're wearing clothes we had to be greased and oiled to slide into!

i don't know about sin, but i wonder why girls that say they are christians would dress that way. i have 4 sons and when they get older i know i don't want them going to a youth group full of girls dressed that way. do you think they'd really pay attention to the sermon under those conditions?

Yes, I do. Young women are often counseled to not go "too far" in their dating. Young men are also often counseled the same thing, however, I think it's each sex's responsibility to try to keep the other in mind and how hard it can be sometimes to stay "pure". IMO, today's fashions - for women in particular, are just another tool in Satans arsenal.

Yes, I do think it is wrong. Modesty is best. You must go to a church with several young people. They dress most immodestly these days.
