I started drinking coffee in grade 12. Studying for my final exams. I put 2 sugar and cream in it. Sip on it, it is hot like tea. Have coffee in the morning, when you wake up, to start.

First of all - do you like the smell of coffee? Do you like the flavor?
Lots of people drink lots of different ways - myself, I like it only with creamer - so sugar. To me coffee doesn't taste good sweet.
Although there is 1 exception - put an envelope of hot chocolate into a very weak cup of coffee, and add creamer. That makes a mocha - then you'll be able to decide if you like it sweet or not. There are iced coffee drinks as well at places like Starbucks, etc...just experiment until you fond what you like best.

I like it 1/2 hot milk 1/2 coffee and lots of sugar. If you are really tired use expresso coffee. I think it tastes better, so thats all I use.

Buy very good coffee, grind it yourself and make it fresh. I suggest Peets or anything Hawaiian. Add lots of cream and sugar to start, then adjust as you get used to the taste.

Coffee can have many negative affects on your system, so I don't see why you wish to learn to enjoy it, but it's no different then any thing else. Have a little at a time and you will become accustom to it and eventually come to enjoy it.

I prefer tea, but I do like flavored creamers in my coffee when I do have it. I also at time mix cocoa and coffee. You may consider that.

I think the best way to start drinking coffee is to not to. Try some tea instead.

But if you insist on drinking coffee, there are a number of flavored creamers from Amarreto to Irish Cream. These will help someone who might not like the flavor of coffee.

If you want to get down to drinking plain coffee, start off with the flavored creamer and slowy reduce the amount you are adding to the coffee, allowing yourself to get used to the flavor before you reduce it again.

Try a mocha with a little whip cream. Tastes like a hot chocolate. Why start if you don't have a caffeine addiction?

Try Starbucks. When I younger I loved the smell of coffee but hated the way it tasted. Then I started college, and when I would drop off my three young children at my mothers at 7:00 in the morning, I'd give her the kids, she'd hand me a large cup of coffee, to make sure that I would stay awake during class of course. She drinks very strong coffee, i had no choice but to learn to like it. Now I love it.
