Grapefruits are great for losing weight and giving you the boost of C that you will need.

Carrots are packed with vitamin A, but I would limit the amounts because they have a lot of sugar.

Celery is always good considering when you eat it you basically consume no calories.

Bananas are pretty much essential to a good diet because of their potassium filled goodness.

Apples - an apple a day keeps the doctor away! Apples are great for an afternoon pick me up..

Blueberries - rich in antioxidents and vitamin c...they are great for weight loss.

If you are a diabetic then I would limit the amounts of fruits, but if not then everything in moderation is great.

Agree with Abby, although avocadoes are filling and they have the good fat.

Anyway, it's all about Calories in, Calories out. So, check out a web site that tells you all foods and Calories, such as

This one is really great! Anyway, it's important to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables every day. The ones you listed are great ideas, but try new ones also! Berries are especially low in Calories, high in fiber, flavorful and full of antioxidants, but every fruit & veggie has its benefits

All fruits and veggies are good for you, but don't eat them in excess or in replace of all of your meals. Fruits and Veggies are filled with sugars and salts that will cause you to hold on to waterweight.

Stick to anything green. Lettuce, peas, green peppers, celery, etc.

Have a salad with some oil and vinegar instead of dressing, and make a habit out of excercising, or powerwalking.

PS. Don't forget to drink LOTS of water.
