Where are the Christians counter protests? Do they secretly agree with what he's doing? I think so.

Because Christians agree with his message. They are the people funding this moron. Phelps shows Christianity for what it is a hate-filled bigot religion.

The Christians are right behind the Reverend Phelps.

First of all, PGR is not just Bikers, I have been on at least 20 missions and there are always people in cages (cars) too. We do not confront or have violence with any protestors, that is what they want. They will have someone vidoetape and then sue for assault. We are there to honor the soldier or vet and show respect for their families. In case the protestors do start yelling, there is not one of them that can be heard when we revv our pipes!!! As far as Christians go, there are a lot of bikers at PGR rides that are also wearing Christian Bikers MC or MM Colors. The Westboro Baptist group is a cult of aboout 20 people, most are from the same family. Any true christain realizes this group is a cult and not truly Christian.

I have a motorcycle and I live in PA and I was more than ready to join the other bikers when Phelp's gang was about to protest the funerals of the little Amish girls who were shot.

Now, Im not a violent person but my Italian temper DOES flare when women or children are hurt. Phelps people are violent, so they probably need to be countered by violence, however, for those of us who aren't violent, how would you suggest we handle them?

phelps is a worm, for Christians or any other denomination to counter protest would just give the worm more media attention. I appreciate the move by the bikers--seems so very perfect--I bet the worm is squirming over this.

Biker beat up Rev. Phelps. I'll drink to that!

Let our biker brothers show us the way.

Sometimes we have to think about the good things bikers do.

I don't have the freedom in my life. Besides, I'd just lose my temper and get arrested.

Good question though, but I'd word it more generally - why don't more people work to protect against them?

It's not up to bikers, they are just getting a lot of press recently for showing their support of the families at military funerals.

GOOD FOR THEM!

I think it's because the bikers are doing such a great job, we don't need to help them. Of course we don't agree with him, he's a fool.

Are you assuming that the bikers aren't Christian? I'm not trying to be difficult that's just the way your question came across to me. If I could afford to be there to protest his hate I would.....and I'm not Christian.

You think wrong. The man's obviously off his nut, and isn't worth the time it would take to counter-protest.
