I just got my second holes done in the lobes three weeks ago can i take them out?

This is my first time time gettin my ears pierced.I got my normal piercings when i was five days old.Im 15 and I was scared to death when i was going to get them pierced.I was shaking.I got them done at claire's and I was so suprised that it didnt hurt at all.I was so suprised that my parents gave me permission to get them done.Because they were saying that doin holes in my ears looked nasty(except the normal ones).They arent infected by the way.I was just wondering its been three weeks since I had them done,can i take them out to put new ones?

i got my ears pierced a second time about 2 months ago and changed the earings after about 3weeks. they were healing pretty quickly and i was taking them out to clean them anyway.

i'd say its ok to take yours out as long as theyre not infected or anything. and also make sure the earings you put in are like real silver or gold etc cause other ones slow down the healing process. after 6weeks it shouldnt matter what you have in.

Yes!...I had my seconds done recently as well. I was told to take them off after two weeks, meanwhile to clean around the stud with an antiseptic that i bought at the same store as well. So far, i have four months with them! basically, you should have taken them out a long time ago,lol. don't worrry though, they won't get infected for staying in to long but if u do leave them on to long, them piercing won't be able to heal properly. My dad didn't by me the earrings until after a week and a half after i should have taken 'em off!,lol. so it'll be fine.

sure you can change them, just do not leave them out for any period of time at all. You can even lube up the new earrings with neosporin or something of the sort to make putting the new jewelry in go more smoothly. Try a sensitive earring too.

You can but just make sure to clean around the hole with the cleaning solution they normally give you. I just got my third piercing so it should be fine. Also, make sure you are not allergic or sensitive to the types of earings you wear. Sometimes when you get a new peircing, the new one tends to get kind of sensitive. Good luck!

I've had both my lobes pierced twice and my advice would be to wait. Give them time, as soon as you take them out they will flare up. Wait til they feel absolutely normal (you can turn the piercing, sleep on them fine etc), then wait that time again to be sure.
