christians are sinners. muslims are sinners. atheists are sinners. everyone sins and god knows this. i try to follow Jesus but God said that we will not be like Jesus. He was perfect and made in his Father's image. all we can do is repent when we mess up. everyone is human and everyone is foolish sometimes. i try to lead a life that jesus wants me to. i dont get upset easily, i let things slide by, i help when i am needed and even when i am not. i try to put things that hurt me in the past and still love my enemy. i try not to lie to much. I dont fornicate. what else can i do but be human?

More often than not I do not believe they do. The most common sin is GOSSIP. Some do not see this as a sin but it can be very harmful to others. I used to be a christian but fell away. Mostly because I could not stand the hypocrisy. So many of them say one thing and do another. I asked my minister a very simple question. I then asked two more men who had been christians for a very long time. I got three seperate and completely different answers. I would say if I asked that question of several different men and women of different faiths that I would have a dozen different answers to the same question. UNITY is what Jesus prayed for in the gospel of John chapter 17. Yet division is the norm. There are presently over 2500 different christian churches and beliefs. And that doesn't include Muslims and Hindus and a variety of other factions. How can anyone obey the teachings of Jesus when there are so many different views? One verse in the Bible can be interpreted many different ways. And every interpretation some one makes, they believe with all their heart they are right. I am not trying to cause others to get angry or upset with my answer but, unless it's a very simple verse there will always be those who see the scriptures in their own way. The best thing to do is ask yourself WWJD? What would Jesus do? To tell you the truth I can not see Jesus telling an off color joke, smoking a cigarette, dringing a beer, telling gossip, wearing tight or revealing clothing, putting some one down instead of picking them up, playing golf on a Sunday afternoon, and many many other things.
Do christians in the world today obey Jesus' teachings? I will give my final answer to this in a way my father preached.
He had a rather large chalk board behind him as he preached. On that chalk board he drew the biggest circle he could. He said, "This is the world." Then he drew a very tiny circle inside the big circle. He said, "This is the church." Then he erased half of the small circle and said, "These are the ones who obey the teachings of Christ."
Good visual, don't ya think?

love the lord your god with all your heart.
...Do you see God reflected in people's lives?
I see them everywhere.
A man picking up a small child's doll.
A woman letting a car pass him in a busy parking lot.
A pastor listening to a young girl's burdens, then teaching her how to give them to God.
If you read the word of God and pray, keeping that relationship with him strong, all the good results shown in your actions come naturally. Of course we can make mistakes.
I must say... many don't.
