She first walked in as I met her for my eye appt and looks incredibly hot. The first thing she said to me was after i introduced herself to me that she dated a guy with the same name as me a while back and now hes in TX. I wanted to say so badly to her well lets keep the tradtion going, what time do yo uwant me to pick u up for dinner on Friday, but noticed her wedding ring.
As she told me to lean back in the chair i said are u going to clean my teeth she chukced and said i would have to come back later for that.

Who knows, maybe she is, maybe she isn't. Even though she has a wedding ring on, she might be having a rocky relationship with her husband & is looking for someone to shake things up with (that is, if she WAS flirting with you) or she might just have the ring on her ring finger? A lot of women do that. If I were you I would take the risk and ask her if she's married or something first and see where it goes from there.

I think thats some playful, cheeky flirting happening there.
But this is up to you, she's got a wedding ring on so theres a risk of being rejected, or she just might slip out one night to have dinner with you.

It could be her friendly manner, she may have been trying to put you at ease, but to tell you the truth, my fiance is a physician and he is EXTRA CAREFUL that patients do not misinterpret anything he says as flirting. it is a big NO NO and an MD can loose his/her license. so I guess she is not very bright. In any case, she has all your contact information, she may or may not be married. If she wants to date you she will call you herself. Otherwise, if you really want to take a chance, go back for a second checkup and ask her out to dinner. You might need to switch doctors after that, but hey, at least you tried, right?
