I wouldn't worry if, you're eating until your full.
As long as you eat all your meals (healthy ones) & some snacks even.
If you feel you're underweight, you can drink ensure (it comes in different flavors). I would talk to you mom or doctor before you doing anything drastic.
You can't compare yourself to other people, everyone is different. :)
Avoid sodas (which contain a lot of sugar) & can be quite filling.
Eat Protein (chicken, Turkey, Beef etc.), eat your veggies & fruit, not too much junk food.

Not eating a lot is ok, as long as you are eating healthy foods and really are full. Your diet should be balanced. No one can really tell you how many calories you should be eating a day without getting your height. But assuming you are still growing you could need more food to fuel your body. I would say a minimum of 1400-1500 is probably needed for an active teen.

Also are you sure you are only eating 600-900 calories a day? As americans much of our food portions are out of control.

Instead of concentrating on how many calories you need to eat, how about striving for a healthy diet? Aim to eat a high fiber diet with lean proteins. Get your 5 servings of fruits and vegetables in every day, with at least 3 dairy servings (or foods with calcium if you are vegan or lactose intolerant). Limit junk food to rare/special occasions, and avoid soda. Easier said than done. But this way, you will be healthy.

600-900 calories is close to starvation and you could be mal-nourished.

Are you eating fruits and veggies, meats and carbs.

Are you drinking fruit juices, soda or other beverages with calories you are not counting?

You must be okay, because they say an adult 18+ should have about 1500 per day.
