well for one thing bipolar isnt a diagnosis for kids. its a different name for a similiar problem and ask his counselor they would better know. i have this disorder and so does several family members. never diagnoised at this young good luck
bipolar person needs to be on meds in most cases. as does adhd. please seek ot a therapist and follow the advice given

There might be also a great difference in personally types between family members.
Causing various reactions to expectations, and results.
Meaning: the particular personality each one of us is born with and influences us for the rest of our life.
The anger is frustration and acting out.
A way to get attention, by not having the expierence and knowhow to express his thoughts and vague feelings.
Is the 7 old is the younger one ?
The older one is only older by less than 2 years ?
Was he created while under the influence of alcohol ?
To feed him with unprocessed foods might be a added benfit to stabilize him.
Please do not use drugs on him it will only mask the real issues.

i have adult add i stay away from red 40 caffeine and sugar as much as possible a healthy diet with lots of protein and a structured setting with a daily routine , set sleep pattern
my wife is my right hand it takes a special woman to love a kid trapped in a mans body my wife is the key to our success we a have an adhd 7 year old boy also we have him on foculin xr this med has really helped him focus through his school day however his mornings have to be smooth everthing laid out hectic late mornings are the worst as i said above diet and rutine are a really big help

You should understand that your son is probably going through a tough time. I have ADHD and my older sister is bipolar. I think you might want to talk to your childs docotor for information about other docotors and/or treatment options.

take your son to a pediatrician who know about such things, everyone has these conditions if you go to the wrong doctor, talk to teachers, social workers at school, bipolar is a strong diagnosis for such a young person. get a few 2nd opinions. good luck.

you can do that or you can just go see a therapist and give strick instructions that you will only use medication as a last resort. They have to honor your wishes. My niece has ADHD and is not on Meds...she's doing pretty well.
