Why doesn't she let it go?

There is this girl at work that I like but I mest things up by being to aloof with her from the start.
I never meant to be so cold and indifferent with her but there wasn't much else I could do in my situation.
Usually after the way I've acted most women would not speak to me anymore, but despite that she continues to speak to me and often gazes at me in a very strange way.
I just want to know if you believe she is toying with me and perhaps making fun of me for being such an a**hole with her, or if there might be something there.
Also I can not ask her unless I'm sure because I might compromise my job (she's the bosses daughter).

tell her you love her, you can always get another job, but if you don't tell her you love her you might regret it for the rest of your life.
