Can the conductors to the gas and water be left with a csa of 6mm and also electrode conductor be left at 6mm . no cables go underground and are in capping in walls. consumer unit has 100mA rcd with split load 30mA rcd for sockets

Should be ok with 6mm in a domestic installation but if you can replace with 10mm then do so.

think 6mm is okay but cant find my book.

why do you want to know?

if in doubt get a qualified electrician, part p regulations introduced in the last year mean you should seek the advice of a qualifed engineer.
