Hannity said today on his show "the President will over ride" any laws passed by Congress. When did the Constitution change?

Yes Bush can veto. That is exactly right. That is why the Impeachment of Bush and Cheney is the only course of action for Democrats. Bush thinks he can ignore the November elections and send more troops to Iraq. The people have spoken. Bush and Republicans need to learn to listen.

BTW, If Bush was not in the election, why did he spend over $400 million of tax payers money giving speeches before November? He kept saying to Democrats "where is your plan" now Bush admits he has no plan.

It hasn't changed. The president will veto whatever he wants.

The democrats have a majority, but they don't have enough of a majority to override his veto.

Sadly enough, the president can still veto legislation.
This was the case when President Billary Clinton vetoed
good ideas that the Republicans had, and will possibly
be the case if Democrats ever come up with good ideas.
It's kind of a balancing act, the outrageous laws that the
one part of government wants are balanced by the President
and the courts.
It's called Democracy and it's worked pretty well, even when
the Democrats have control of things (OK, not quite as well).

Uhhh... the President has always had a veto power. And Bush wasn't on the ballot in November... you may want to check your history there, chief.

All I know is that if Congress really represented the views of their constituents then there shoud be enough votes to override a veto.
Less than 30% support Bush and his ideas. That means 70% of Congress should support controlling him and his insane ideology.

How could Bush have lost? I did not even see his name on the ballot. Now I did not vote for any Republicans running for congress. I did not vote for them because we are not drilling in ANWR, or anywhere else in the USA, and because they have not cut the budget. In a nutshell I did not vote for them because they were too liberal. The Republicans lost because they were not Conservative enough.
