I bought them thinking I could make more room in my closet for my comforters...less than an hour later, they're falling out of my closet! I tried it again...the same thing. These were the large bags too, direct from the company (no cheap brand). Such a disappointment.

I use these for storing my duvets, they're great but you've got to stick the hoover onto the actual clothes so they will get all creased up. However if you've only got a small case or want to take it all on carry on that's fine. The only issue is that if you want to bring any toiletries on an aircraft you're only allowed 100ml of liquid so no hairspray, gel, shaving foam, lipstick etc. as more than 100ml would have to go in the hold anyway. So if you are flying you might as well just roll up your clothes into a normal sized suitcase and pack your toiletries, that way they would arrive uncreased.

No I have not used them, but if you are using them for travel, just make sure the place you stay at has a vaccum, or else you will never be able to suck the air out. Other than travel, they are great for storing summer clothes in the winter, ect.

The jumbo ones are just awful and don't hold the vacuum. The other sizes work great. You can buy the ones that don't need a vacuum (roll up) for travel, but you have to keep the weight w/in limits or you'll pay through the nose for overweight luggage.

Yes they are worth the money.
I have two orange fleeces and I put them away 2 springs ago plus a few other things.
Attached the hoover-sucked out the air.
They are brilliant-recommend them

We purchased several sizes for use on our European trip this past November and discovered that A. regardless of what they advertise, they are not reuseable because they rip, and B. your clothes end up being so wrinkled you wish you had packed an iron! Don't waste your money.

undead monkey is really right when she says the larger ones don't take the vacuum hose! in addition, i am disappointed with this product because (a) it really does not save much room; and (b) the zip-lock zippers at the top are perpetually bursting open, so what is the point?

No, the weight remains the same, it is only the air that is removed allowing extra space, the benefits are in packing larger items that are bulky in size but not heavy.

I have never used them, but I have heard that the zips go on the bags themselves.
