I have had these reoccuring nightmares for quite sometimes. They've become quite scary in the last few weeks. My dead grandmother is always there even if she isn't a key role in it. I'm always running away from something that's chasing me. In some of my dreams, and it's happened more than once, blood begins to seep from the walls/floors, and there is a presence of evil/terror. I am a Christian and I'm well aware of spirtual warfare. Is it possible that this could be some form/kind of spirtual warfare? What does it mean that my grandmother is always there?

Most likely it is spiritual warfare.
Fear is not of God, so if there is something in your life that is making you fearful, then it is not of God, but of the devil.

Nightmares come from a number of different factors. NONE OF WHICH IS GOD, ANGELS, DEMONS!!! WHY NONE OF THOSE EXIST!!!

The only way a person may think that they are under attack of some Demon is their religious conditioning has planted the idea in their subconscious!

The key factor in what causes dreams / nightmares is what you are thinking about just before you go to sleep. Additionally if you are having a problem in one area of your life your subconscious will continue to look for a solution while you sleep!
Other factors that effect dreams are tempature of the room, sounds either from outside or music. I sleep to Venom, Slayer, or something simular. Girl friends haver told me that when they sleep over and I play that while we sleep that they get nightmares!

Do not think anything of dreams / nightmares. They mean nothing!

On a side note I have not had a single nightmare since I was a young child. I have strange dreams sometimes but nothing persay scary!

I believe that dreams are psychological in nature, and that the images in them are metaphors, symbols for things going on in your life. Not knowling all the facts it's difficult to say what the symbols are, but there are some dictionaries out there that can tell you some common symbols and what they mean. Make sure you get a dictionary that is based in psychology, not in "magic", since you are Christian you would probably do better avoiding the New Age type of books on this topic.

My first guess is that your grandmother and your running from something scary, both represent a fear of aging and/or death. But again, this is just a guess, because I don't know you. But I don't think there is any major demon warfare going on in your head...these kinds of dreams are very common. Don't freak yourself out. :)

I think your dreams are symbolic (btw: I am a Christian)

At least, since I do not know you, I will assume your dreams are like most people, and they are symbolic.

Meaning: They are you talking to you
The feelings you have are key
Big monsters are most likely regular things

You do sound like YOU are warning yourself about something you have decided or done - or maybe have not even thought of yet.

Some people start a dream journal - write down immediately upon awaking your feelings about what you dreamed - keep a journal next to you when you sleep (pencil/pen) and get to work - be honest - be through - let people who are close to you help you sort it out.

Jesus has won the battle as far as Spiritual Warfare - so lets get on to you looking at you.

When i was little i used to have a re-occurring nightmare that a witch would put me in a match box and throw me down the stairs. V odd i know, but i would always wake up at the top of my parents staircase (sleep walking). I grew out of that but now every night i talk in my sleep, which is a great annoyance to my bf. Anyway back to your question if he was trying to contact you I'm sure he wouldn't want you to feel bad because of it, Maybe its just stress and probably something that'll pass in time.

I know nothing about that, but theres a chance for everything, dig deeper and find out. Ive had re-occuring dreams aswell, like the exact same dreams. Ill share one just for fun: In my dream, i was having a big dinner with all of my family, and then all of the sudden, there heads all deform and turn into monsters, the whole room on fire and they start playing poker. odd...

I had the same thing happen to me. The trick is make yourself realise it a dream during the dream that way you can say " hey thing that chasing me check out my mad karata skills HIYAH!"
And pray of course. It is possible that it is a threat of demonic.
But if you can pull above off... you can have the time of your life controlling your dream because your skill asleep.

Dream can mean alot of things. you need to pray and ask God before you sleep to give you revelation on it.
