ok, my boyfriend and I have been together for almost a year but it seems that when he goes to visit his family I don't talk to him. He has family that lives about 20 minutes away then more that live about 4 hours away, however last time he went to see them I talked to him for maybe 10 minutes one day then didn't talk to him for 2 days. His family knows about me, but it doesn't make sense on why he won't talk to me in front of them. He's a great guy, always treats me good, but something's not adding up. I'm on the verge of ending it...any advice?? This is not the first time he's done this and when he is here all week and most of the weekends he spends all of his time with me...no he's not married.

It is this way with my wife. She was really close to her family but they live quite some distance away. I go to her parents about 4 times a year and she probably goes another 4 times by herself. We rarely talk while she is gone because she wants to concentrate on them since she does not get to visit that often. I doubt it is about you, just his sense of getting home sometimes. Now if he never takes you, then I would wonder.

talk to him about it, cause breaking up with a great guy that treats u good is not smart. Especially over something that is not that important and can be resolved.
