Today when my daughter and I were taking a nap I woke up and couldn't open my mouth. She had gone into the kitchen and got some crazy glue. I have been trying to get ahold of people but no luck since I can't talk and my wife doesn't get home for an hour. Any suggestions on how to get the glue off?

I didn't think she could get the child safety locks undone. We have everything dangerous usually locked so its not like we don't supervise our children like we should. I GUESS NOW WE NEED TO GET LOCKS FOR EVERYTHING! AND I DIDN'T GET MAD AT HER EITHER. IT KINDA MADE ME LAUGH AND SHE THINKS IT IS PRETTY HILLARIOUS

Pretty much the only things that will remove this are Nail Polish Remover that has Acetone in it and Hot Soapy Water. Hopefully your wife has some acetone polish remover around the house.

You'll want to use a Q-tip and rub it on the edge of your lips and slowly try to loosen some. Then wash it with hot soapy water and then rinse with plain hot water. You will have to do this many times, and it will take a while and is going to taste horrible, but it should work. You'll only be able to remove a little at a time to keep from tearing the sensitive skin of your lips, so take it slow. It's likely you will still be working on it when your wife gets home.
If you can't get it off that way, then the ER is your only other route.

Good luck, and be sure to let that daughter of yours know that this is not funny even though you aren't mad and it sorta kinda is...lol. But you definitely wouldn't want her trying it again...lol.

I hope this helps.

Like the others, unless you want to go to the ER, fingernail polish. Just remember she is 4 and that you love her. Now I remember how much trouble I was in for dying the neighbor's white cat black....(and the carpet, hands, my shirt of course.)

Oh my goodness, I know that i shouldn't have, but this visual made me laugh!

Use fingernail polish remover. It's going to taste horrid, but at least you'll be able to speak.

And are the boys going to have their hands full when you're daughter reaches dating age! heh

wait till your wife gets home. after a hard day at work she could probably use a good laugh. (nail polish remover or HOT soapy water)

Bahaha! Sorry, that is funny **** right there! Try the nailpolish remover if you like, but I would be afraid of it hurting the sensitive area of your lips.
