have chances. but very little war only, like border site. because we both countries know about the wars experience. but we cant trust this muslim country. any one any time rule over the country ,and they show to their people as a hero, for that purpose they try to start the war. any way in future there will be danger from pak, because the dangerous weapons take over by the terror ruler.there is no safe for the weapons. 100% chances in future from pak to us by nuc.weapons.

India and Pakistan have a long history of violence against each other so it is not entirely out of the question. At this very moment I would lean in the direction of saying that it is unlikely however. The governments of both countries are reasonably stable and seem more interested in growth then in violence. Pakistan, in particular, is actively trying to shed its "terrorist safe-haven" image. Religious and ethnic conflicts will continue to occur between the two nations but I am hopeful that they will gradually lessen as time goes on. This is no guarantee, however. India shows all of the signs of being an emergent world power and may some day claim super power status. They have a developing economy, huge population reserves, and a growing educational system. As the flower of India blooms it will put pressure on her neighbors that could spark violence in the future. In such a conflict it is likely that the US would choose to support whichever side promised the most long-term support to the US cause. That would probably be Pakistan. India has a long history of going-their-own-way in the face of US influence. When the Soviets offered India more support then the US, India chose to ally with the USSR. That is a primary reason that the US began supporting Pakistan in the first place. It took a long time, even after the fall of the Berlin Wall, for US policy makers to start to warm up to the largest democracy in the world. There are several war game scenarios that explore a US conflict with India over efforts to exert control over the Indian ocean and it is not by random chance that a US carrier task group was regularly deployed to those waters even before the whole "War on Terrorism" thing started.

The time frame is missing.
War ? When ? Next two years ? Five years a Decade or two ?
At present there are no indications of any open conflict (war)
Reasons.
USA and the Europeans need India - Skilled Cheap Labour, Huge Market, Large force of Specialists and Professionals to mention a few important determinants.
USA and Europeans cannot ignore Pakistan - foothold in this part of the world to control middle east and counter to Chinese influence. Also a check on India. To keep the Islamic countries happy. Pakistan can never be a danger to them.
Thus they cannot allow the two to go to war - keep the threat of war alive but there should be no war.
That seems to be the present. The future well.......???????

There is already a war on between India and Pakistan called low intensity conflict. Pakistan cannot afford an all out war like in 1947. 1965 or 1971. so they are sending in the name of Jihad promising heaven after death militants by the thousands into india through Jammu and Kashmir. this is called proxy war and every day including last two days all military and political leaders say no we are not sponsoring terrorism.

The western powers dont want war to happen but they always want the tense situation to exist so that they can sell their arms, weapons to both the sides and make money. If there is war both North India & Pakistan will vanish from the world map, but I pray God forbid that. But if some fool like RSS/VHP terrorist or Laskar Al-Taibah terrorist press the nuclear button on either side, then that will happen. All intelligent people go out of India & Pakistan, to Middle East, West, South East Asia and other parts of the world. So only fools will die.

both are Democratic u . s . a ., scuffling with Political Instability. it isn't a warfare between countries. In 1940's it turned right into a warfare between the Leaders. Nehru and his crew had to have each and each and every of the British ruled areas less than their administration. yet many Kingdom protested hostile to it. Nehru's authorities tactically dealt with the problem and took administration of all areas of the present India. some Kingdoms like Kashmir & Hyderabad did not had to affix India / Pakistan. yet India forcibly occupied those places with information from protection rigidity skill. the dominion of Kashmir went to Pakistan for help. Pakistan tried that's ideal and captured some factors decrease back. nonetheless there's a very useful separate state called self sufficient Kashmir. So, each and each and every of the happenings are for the Land of Kashmir. a number of those memories are very previous ones. yet precise this second, if a warfare takes position, the consequences would nicely be severe even for the only residing in South maximum cities like Chennai, Madurai, etc. you should objective to comprehend the present warfare state of affairs (Nuclear skill). both international places are Nuke Powered. If warfare takes position, then damage will be for each side. Pray for not something like that ought to take position contained in the destiny.

There is a greater understanding and openness between both the governments. They understand each others problem very well. When the entire world is progressing and citizens of even smaller nations are having a better quality of life, these 2 nations can not afford to remain as helpless spectators and let things go by. They will prefer unity and peace out of necessity, if not by choice.

No. I do not think that under the current circumstances you will see a war. Moreover it is a time when both the countries are looking forward to resolving problems. Both the leaders of the countries are open to compromies based permanent solutions as per the media reports. So, I am surprised in what context does this question arise.

Is Pakistan the scariest place on the planet? Considering many in their military and intelligence apparatus support Al-Quieda and the Taliban, have access to nuclear weapons, and frequently commit acts of terrorism and murder against Indian civilians, my answer is I hope not
