Yesterday in downtown Atlanta an out of town history professor and author was arrested for jaywalking - thrown to the ground and handcuffed, because the cop didn't properly ID himself as a cop, and was questioned on who he was.
The past 12 months - 12 shooting deaths by DeKalb County police - one a 90 yr old woman when they broke down her front door on a bad search warrant
How far can we let cops go without being abused by the police force?

Check your stories out.
The Officer identified himself as a Police officer several times.
The 90 year old woman was shot by Atlanta PD, not DeKalb PD.
EVERY single person shot by DeKalb PD was pointing a weapon at the officer involved.
The 90 year old woman who was shot, shot at the officers first, and there were drugs in the house.
Not necessarily fair to pin it on Atlanta cops.

You are so right, those cops that shot the 90 year old and the only thing she did was shoot at them! I don't know about you, but I think the thing to do when you have someone shooting at you, is give them a big hug and sing Kumbaya.
I know you don't have all the facts, and the media loves to leave out details, it only clutters the story to put all the truth in there.
My advice is you go join the police dept., provided you can pass the background tests and straighten them out.
I am quite confident that you will never get a surge of adrenaline when someone is shooting at you and make a decision to save your own life, not knowing that the bullets fired by a 90 year old person are really old and weak and probably won't even KILL YOU when they hit you.

I live in Atl and i was arrested new years eve at a concert at Phillips arena for public intox, Their were about 10 thousand people drinking outside and they only arrest me, with no drink in my hand and not even looking drunk. trust me i can hold my alcohol and i only had a few. I was not even drunk i was just yelling woooh cuz it was new years eve for gods sake. I think they have something to prove and they are doing it the wrong way.

cops in usa have gone power crazy many will be killed or injured due to this .the whole world has gone crazy .its time for revolution burn baby burn
