in this day and age there are few surprises...not a lot we havent heard before and everything is out there for us to see and hear.....What,if anything turns your head in surprise,shock or pure amazement now?...;0)

When people go out of their way to help one another, such as the gentleman that threw himself over a complete stranger that fell onto subway tracks.
The person who fell onto the tracks from what I understand was in the throws of a seizure and appeared to be in eminent life threatening danger, when a complete stranger saw this and jumped down to cover this guy so he would not get killed as the train passed over.

The funny side of me says "my neck" turns my head but at my age, most women turn my head I just don't give in to my desires. After a bad break up 12 years ago, I find I can't totally trust most women and from my experience in the past 12 years, my feelings about women haven't proven false. Maybe I'm the one that is making the women in my life do what they do but I still have my own feelings.

Sometimes I go to the local county jail website and it shocks me to see how many people I knew from high school that are in jail or prison.

some-one wolf whistling at me! sometimes its hard to feel attractive hauling 2 kids and a bundle of shopping, but that does it every time!
i dont care that its ment to be sexist, i take it for what it is....
a loud compliment that every one can hear!
though hearing my little sis announcing she was getting the coil did give me a fright! i suddenly realised she was 20 not 14! when did that happen?

Someone displaying a basic understanding of manners. I don't care whether people are strangers or not in this day-and-age it is still nice for someone to say excuse me instead of barging past.
