I always wondered... If there are 4 stalls in the bathroom and I am in one on the end, why does someone pick the one right next to me even though all the others are open. You can clearly tell I am in that one because the door is closed. I mean do I really need to hear someone peeing or whatever bodily functions right next to me? Ewe.

You should always leave a stall open between the two of you. It's the same way at the movies. You don't sit right next to a stranger unless you have to. Leave a seat in the middle.

Unless I have no other option I always leave at least one empty stall between me and the next occupied one. I think it's just common courtesy!

Ha Ha Ha.....how did you pick the one you are in? I agree though whenever possible, there should be a minimum of one stall between people.
