What if i dont get it by my birthday? can i still go out that night and drink, but use my old one? I live in MI

if your id is expired on your b-day, which it should be, no where should be taking it as valid id, because it isn't.

As long as your license isn't expired yet, yes you will be able to drink. If your license expires on your birthday, get it renewed a few days early so you don't get caught out.

Do everyone a favor though. Especially yourself! Book a taxi or have a designated driver. That way you can enjoy your new-found freedom without risk of a DUI or worse. I know several folks who lost their license or their live on their 21st birthday by not planning intelligently.

your license is valid until midnight of the day it shows for example today is 1/9/07 license is good until 1/9/07 at 11:59pm after that ut is an expired license and u not sopose to drive

Yes it has ur birth date on it. U may have people saying no at first but tell them to read the date.

You should be able to. Just have the waiter or bartender look at the date of your birthdate.
