They just want to get an EEG to see what kind of activity levels you have going on when your levels of Lamictal are low. If there is a lot of activity and it looks like you are leaning more towards the chances of having a seizure they may need to up the dosage to help lower the chances and vice versa. I myself am currently taking it as a treatment for bi-polar disorder, and while it doesn't effect me the way it does you, i.e. seizures and such, my levels still have to be monitored and the effects have to be watched so levels can be adjusted accordingly. Good luck, it's not so bad.

My mom has epilepsy and uses Lamictal to treat it. She had trouble with getting the dosage right at first, but with work from her doctor, they have now found the perfect amount for her to take and she is doing the best she has been doing in a long time. Keep working with your doctor, and always keep up with your meds. Im not sure about your situation but your doctor is, so take all questions to him. Best of luck to you, also check out this web site, www.outoftheshadows.com. It is an epilepsy awareness site.

They want to do an EEG to see how much seizure activity there is when your Lamictal level is low so they can decide what dose is optimal for you.
Not so sticky, is it?

To start off, I work with Mentally Ill clients and they take all of these meds. The Doctors are making millions in the Psychotic meds and any meds someone is put on. #2 The Seroquel is a very highly bad drug for you as r all of them really. Get off the Seroquel The only thing that these meds do is make the Med Industry Rich while we are the Guinny Pigs for them to test all of these. But dont just get off Serowuel like that, get off slow, because Seroquel is a sleep Med also for Insomnia. Take something Herbal like St Johns Wort for depression and do what the Chinese do and drink Herbal drinks. Why do you think the Chinese live to be very old. Because they eat well, and take herbal Remedies, If u want to ask me anything else, let me know and I will help you the best I can.

I've recently gone on Lamictal to treat bipolar disorder, so I've been doing a lot of research on it. I don't fully understand your question though. Can you clarify?

I don't understand why it is sticky. If you need more lamictal, you need more lamictal, I have been on worse drugs.

Please explain the problem further.
