aah...
most of people believe that garden of Adam and eve was real.
the biggest problem is most of people take every word of divine books literally. and start believing that. in fact the gods words are always full of wisdom and should not taken as literally all the times, so wisdom is required where not to take the gods words literally.
the story of Adam and eve and their garden although told by all divine books, and with some different situations. and most of people took it literally. and in doing so(sorry to say) they give a biggest point to non-believers to laugh on god and on religion. as no person with some sense or with some logic is ready to accept this story.
so all story is a metaphor and so garden of Adam and eve.

The Jahwist version of the creation story in Genesis supplies the geographical location of both Eden and the garden in relation to four major rivers (Pishon, Gihon, Hiddekel, Euphrates), as well as in relation to a number of named regions (Havilah, Cush, Asshur or Assyria) (see Genesis 2:10-14). This seems to suggest a setting in the ancient near east, specifically somewhere in Mesopotamia. However, because the identification of these rivers has been the subject of much controversy and speculation, a substantial consensus now exists that the knowledge of the location of Eden has been lost. There is yet no other indication found of its existence beyond the record found in Genesis.

Yes. Fortunately, Genesis actually gives us the coordinates for the mythical garden of Eden. According to the Bible, one should expect to find it in Iraq.
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Tigris,+Iraq&ie=UTF8&t=k&om=1&ll=30.325471,48.587036&spn=1.073936,1.873169
On the map, look for the spot where the two rivers join in the center. That's where the Bible says the Garden of Eden is.
" The name of the second river is the Gihon; it is the one that winds all through the land of Cush. The name of the third river is the Tigris; it is the one that flows east of Asshur. The fourth river is the Euphrates." (Genesis 2:13-14)
Two of those rivers still exist - the Tigris and Euphrates, and they have not been more than slightly re-routed over time, because the biblical descriptions of where they run are fairly consistent with where they go today, and the watersheds also pretty much dictate that. So their confluence puts Eden near where the marsh Arabs of Iraq live.

Look around you. We never really left it.
We just started judging it, so we lost sight of its perfection.
