Also, I noticed in July 2005 the ladies line up along Petchburi Road after about 9 pm. Don't take your chances there. You don't know the product just the facade. i.e. if she is a ladyboy or Katoey you might get rolled, drugged, or worse.
I also heard some women gather at the end of Patpong or Nana and even Soi Cowboy. Don't bother, many are katoey looking for a date.

The most famous one is Patpong. Go to Silom Road in Bangkok. You'll find it. There is a sizable night market on the streets there and all the places are right there by the market.
