I am a 21 yr old female and I shower everyday, sometimes twice. I dry myself well because wet skin can cause bacteria infection or so I’ve heard. I have switched different soaps and I use Tide with Febreeze it minimizes my clothing smell, just a little. Could it be my excessive sweating? I was diagnosed with Hyperhydrosis aka excessive sweating, but I cannot afford surgery, and due to my state’s policies, I do not qualify for medical help. I reapply deodorant throughout the day,yet I sweat.Could it be the foods I eat? I don’t eat well, mainly stick to sugar, sweets, softdrinks. I buy perfumes to mask the odor. Friends have talked about me behind my back and People I don’t know. This got so bad that people started rumors about me and a group of students (when I was in school years ago) cornered me and beat me up. I was in critical condition but made it. Some people just dont understand my problem.

Eat healthy foods. Organic stuff. Don't eat anything processed. DON"T Shower so often. Once a day is enuf.

Check your cracks, under arm, butt, vaginal area. Girls have lots of holes their. 3 to be exact.

Make sure clean dry, but don't use anti-bacterial crap. Go to health store and look for alternatives. Many exist, use judgment.

Finally, look for the creeps that beat you up and explain to them you forgive them because you found out the smell makes people retarded.

Deodorant doesn't stop sweating, just masks odor. If you want to stop sweating, I recommend using something that's labeled "antiperspirant." The foods you're eating could have an effect on it. I've also noticed that some brands of stick deodorant do absolutely nothing for me. I use RightGuard sport aerosol, and that usually lasts for the entire day. Try switching deodorants for a while. That might help.

Man that stinks. No Pun intended! Seriously though, I remember watching an hour long 20/20 on this very subject about a teacher. basically the result of the show was "scientists are still aggressively working toward a cure for this major problem." So for right now I'm not sure if there is much you can do. My advice, consult a doctor and/or do a web search for that episode of 20/20 and see if there is anything that can help you.

You're going to have to go to a doctor. If you already shower twice a day, your problem is beyond the help of deodorants and perfumes. They can botox you to stop the sweating.

Have you tried a perscription strength deodorant? There are some out there that can almost completely block sweat glands. They are actually there to help with Hyperhydrosis. Hang in there, people who talk about you like that don't deserve your friendship.

stop trying to cover it up with perfumes and perfumed products. That only compounds the problem.

Try cutting back on sugar, which can contribute to both the sweating and the odor. Bacteria THRIVES on sugar.

We are animals and are meant to smell. Almost any smell becomes imperceptible after a few minutes exposure to it because the olfactory nerve stops firing on that signal (except in some biochemical and mental conditions). You may need to get these ruled out unless it is a simple neurosis or hysteria.
