for the guys, my fiance is getting them all a gift basket or package of stuff that is from their fave sports team, stuff like a baseball hat, a shirt, etc...with the logo on it, they don't all go for the same team, so he's accomidating! Its sort of the same thing for everyone, but yet still personalized to their taste...it may not work for you, but his friends are sports nuts, so it was ideal for us and it may be right up your attendants alley!
For my girls, I got them all monogramed beach towels and then jewelry for the wedding. I didn't want to do just jewelry cuz thats gotten so overdone, so the beach towels are something they can use for years to come and i thought it was different! I also saw some really cute spa robes that you could have personalized on ebay at the same ebay store I got the towels from, you could give that a shot!

If you want to get something engraved, it's going to be very difficult to find something that hasn't been "done" yet unfortunately. I would get them something engraved as a token gift, and pair that with a gift card for a spa treatment (or something that the individual person likes to do) along with a personal and sincere note from the two of you. I can't tell you how many expensive engraved mirrors I have from being in weddings. I would have loved a small picture frame and maybe a little something that catered to my hobbies so much more.

It just so happens that I am an artist specializing in wedding gifts, accessories, altars, shrines, favors and favor containers, guest books, wedding albums, vow books, and various forms of assemblage. My custom gifts are meant to be personalized to the recipient -- not just name, but personality, dreams, aspirations, memories, etc. I would love to work with you -- send me an e-mail and I will direct you to my website where you can see my gallery, including a recent wedding shrine kit where the bride, groom, guests and attendants decorated the shrine themselves from the kit during the ceremony and reception.
In any case, good for you for wanting something unique!

Seriously, stay away from the knot.... all their stuff in JUNK when you get it. It's so cheap looking.
For the girls- I am making them jewerly out of 14 karat gold and crystals and for the guys we got them all Leathermen
They were from BJ's wholesale and it's a whole kit- your get one main tool and 2 smaller ones. They were $100 on sale for $65 per piece.
I would look around BJ's wholesale or Costco and see if you can find anything fun and different. You might want to get everyone a different type of thing too. We got leather because all they guys are either outdoor types or fix it types. They are also super handy- they even make colored ones for the girls. I love my FI one, I steal it all the time. It's like having 20 tools in one and you never have to go searching for another screw driver and then a wrench!!

You should go to a professional photographer and have them take a picture of you two and then put the picture in a heart frame and make it a magnet that way everyone has a memory of your wedding day. Also you can make little Bags of candy wrapped in romantic colors.

Hi! I am getting married in August and I am getting my girls a personalized pocketbook mirror. The outside is silver with diamonds on it and you can have their names engraved on them. Every woman needs a mirror to check her make-up so this is something they will definitely use and I was going to make them a gift basket. Also, I was thinking about spa gift certificates. Who doesn't like being pampered?

We gave our attendents books. Each one got a book that we picked out for them based on their interests and personalities. On the title page (or another blank page), we wrote personal notes to thank them not only for standing up in our wedding, but also for their love and friendship. They were a hit!

I think the cutest idea for wedding parties are monogrammed flasks. For your brother it could be covered in black leather and girls in pink, its fun but they have some new cute ones out. Check out the knot .

the knot.com is an awesome website i have been using thus far as well...but um...we are getting personal with our gifts i am making baskets for the girls...with each of their own personal flare to them....like my maid of honor is my best friend...so in her basket i have best friend blanket, picture frame with us together, etc. I think it comes off that you appreciate them more when it gets personal and unique.

Have the wedding photographer do professional photos of them, then give them the photos. You can have the photos framed or there are ways to print them on stones or boxes.
