Hmmm....
How about:
"The new love in my life yanked my left arm and ate my essay."
"My favorite uncle drooled all over my assignment drooled all over my assignment"
"My neighbor's cousin threatened to take my lunch money and popped my mathbook in the microwave."
Serious:
I am really sorry. I got it done but my printer is broken.
I am really sorry. I had it written down but I lost my organiser.
I am really sorry. I just forgot.

"What homework?... We had homework?..."

Or try

"Chapter 10? Numbers 3,6,15 and 33?... You said 2, 4, 8, 30 and 42!" Or you could go with "Evens?... You said to do the Odd numbers"

Thing is before you pull this one off, make sure you copy the answers out of the back of the textbook, onto a piece of paper, so that you look like you were actually serious.

My best excuse was I quickly did some of it, took it in, and said I tried to do it, but my boss at my part time job made me work extra hours and I couldn't get it all finished. I don't know how old you are, so the job excuse may or may not work, but you could always say your grandparents were in for the day from out of town and you had to spend time with them while they were here.
Good luck! :-)

How about "hey teacher, I'm just too lazy to do it. I'm not all that bright either!" How about that? Because your teacher knows it's excuses. Pretty soon your parents will probably find out too. That would be great.

You're suffering from exhaustion... just go to bed very early and tell you parents that you're really really tired... and the next day, get them to write a note saying you were sick last night.

Ok, this kind of thing only works once (per school maybe).

My dad's girlfriend confronted my mom and all I could do was cry all night.
