No, they weren't "birthed", so how could they have had belly buttons?

because Adam and Eve were not the first people on earth. Remember the part in the bible were cain kills able? After the all knowing all seeing all hearing all smelling god has to look for cain lololololol, cain got banished. Keeping in mind that, according to the bible, there was only Adam, Eve and cain left, the next time you hear them mention cain he has a wife and children. Keep in mind that cain got sent out into the land AWAY from his mother and father. Oh 4give me, I'm not suppose to question God my teacher even if I don't understand something. I'm to remain quiet and dumb at all times even though I was created with a curious nature, and wanting to KNOW

All the other Races were CREATED in Genesis 1
