i too have just been getting such pains.
i believe them to be caused by prolonged use of my computers mouse.
support at the elbow may be the answer to this problem.

maybe you hurt yourself. you might have slept in an uncomfortable position. so the pain might be caused by muscular damage, not necessarily severe. it could be cause by some problems with the ribs themselves. it could also be caused by liver disease. if you would provide more details about, how sharp or dull the pain is, when it appears, how long it lasts, how does it go away, i could tell you more. if you have been with a cold lately, it could be a mild inflammation of the lung. again questions: other symptoms? like fever, other pains, fatigue... email me if you like. i a am a med student, maybe i could help you.

You could have coughed hard or something that separated a rib a bit. If it doesn't go away or improve in a few days better call the doctor.

Are you coughing? Could you have pneumonia? Gall Bladder attacks are different for each person too. It can be in front, and back also. Sounds like you need to see the Dr. to find out, could be serious.

I've got that, called the doctor out and was told it's a chest infection possibly pneumonia go to see your GP.
