no, who ever answered yes is obvioulsy ignorant and has not seen a lot of hairdressers. Sure, most ppl, mostly guys,imagine hairdressing as a woman's job. But, some guys love dealing with their hair and would like to do it for other ppl, theres nothing wrong with that. And hey, maybe not all hairdressers that are male do it bcuz the want to, a percentage or so do it cuz they need to. theres a possibility some have the ability to deal with hair and don't have another job option (or better) open to them. But no, not all are gay. In fact, i know some myself, and none of them are.

It seems that most male hairdressers I know are gay buy the are like a good girlfriend if given the chance and do a great job with my hair

No, some have to pretend to be gay in order to make it at the reputable hair salons. I believe it has something to with the female clientele being comfortable at a hair salon. Some women are not comfortable with a straight man (who might be attracted to them) working on them. A gay man on the other hand is considered safe and supposedly won't have any ulterior motives. Also gay men also tend to have more fashion sense when it comes to feminine kind, and can probably understand some of the quirks that only women can interpret. But to answer your question, no... but most of them are.

no. of course not. Most people think that just because it is a femal dominated business right now, so any man that goes into it, is labeled gay. It's true that some are, but there is such thing as a man, who likes hair. Like the guy in what not to wear, he's not gay.

No. I had a few guy hairdressers that were straight that cut my hair.

Yes and all of them. Every single one. No exceptions. The ones who have girlfriends or are married are only closeted. Super gay.

not all haridressers are gay because my best friend is a hairdresser and he has a girlfirend for two years.

Stereotypes hit all corners of life, I wouldn't imagine they are all gay, anymore than I would imagine that all drug dealers are black or any of the ludicrous stereotypes that permeate society today

I don't care if they're gay but I am just uncomfortable around gays that are "flaming." I am also uncomfortable around lesbians who are more manly than I am.
