thanks for all the responses...its a canon rebel 2000 it's a 35 mm film camera.
the reason i'm asking this question is that i was in fact going to sell on ebay orginally, but I saw that the amazon.com prices for that camera were listerd at a much higher value than ebay....any reaason why?

I would say ebay I have sold cameras on there before . Ebay gets alot more traffic .

If you want it sold NOW, try CraigsList in your area.
If you are willing to lose a few bucks while selling it, do it on Ebay.
Amazon selling doesn't exist for cameras, as far as I know.
