A miniature bride is older hispanic tradition. She is different from the flower girl and bridesmaids. The mini is dressed EXACTLY like the bride. She walks in front of you down the aisle, and she represents your transition from childhood (your entire life before marriage) to adulthood.
I'm not familiar with the mini groom, but I assume he would play the same role.

You just get a couple of cute young kids, 3 or 4 years old, that will cooperate. Dress 'em up like the bride & groom and they walk down the aisle just after the bride. The bridesmaids and flower girl are not replaced by them, unless you want them to be.

I've seen them in a ceremony where the groom had two children from a previous marriage-they were dressed in a small-scale wedding dress complete with a short train and tux and entered following the real bride and groom. In this case they took on the roles of ringbearer and flower girl, but I think you can have both.

basically what the title says, they wear a little tux and the girl wears a white dress-ussually with a small train and a tiny veil or tiara or something, and she has a small bouquet and shes basically a mini bride. It's not that much different from teh flower girl or ring bearer, but its a good thing you can have to include lots of kids in the ceremony if you want to! I personally don't really get it, I have a lot of special little girls in my life, so I made them Jr. Bridesmaids and I have 1 flower girl-the jrs have a kids version of the bridesmaids dresses and the flower girl has a cute little white dress. its really whatever works for you tho!

I'm pretty sure you're referring to the cake toppers. A plastic set of a mini bride and groom usually stand ontop of the wedding cake. My dad painted my cousin's set to look more like them.
