Yes. Tanning beds us UV-A and UV-B rays, just like the sun. The sun has another UV called UV-C. UV-B is the "burning ray" and tanning beds only include this UV to make the bed work properly. Sun lamps have all the same "ingredients" so to say, to create a tan as the sun, except it is in a much more controlled environment.

There is nothing fake about a tan in a tanning bed.

Yes they do. However the UV rays from the bed are much more intense than the sun. Unless Ur sunburned real bad. Be careful using a tanning bed. Being tan is not worth skin cancer when U get older. Not what U wanted 2 hear but that's the way that is. Good luck 2 you.

It all depends on how dark you go. But on my body a Fake and Bake tan does not last as long as the ones I get in Vegas... So I'm not sure there could be many factors such as skin color and how well you take to the sun and fake sun. Hope this helps!
