Yes, I experienced that before. I stopped taking the pills after 3 months. I noticed that when I took them on an empty stomach, I felt very nauseated, and extremely moody. I went back to the doctor, and he gave me a lower dosage, and it still didn't help. I noticed that when I took the pill with milk, that helped with the nausea.
I only stayed on the pill for about 6 months. I minute I came off of it, I was back to normal. I didn't have any side effects from stopping, and I don't know anyone else who has. Just felt like I experienced all the side effects when I was on the pill.
There are other alternatives to clear up your acne, but I hope that helped.

If you're nineteen now you're going through another hormonal change. I started taking BC when I was 20 so I kind of skirted that problem. I know people who have and it's hard to say what'll happen. Some felt a little sick for a few days, some gained/lost weight, but most didn't really have much of an affect. You might want to ask your doctor about changing what kind of BC pill you're on, to a lower/higher dose of hormones as needed.

you may not want to go off the pill, but talk to your doc about changing pills. There are all different kinds of the pill with different levels of hormone, and your chemistry may have changed in the past four years.I know mine did during that period, and then again by the time I was 21/22. I tried periods of going off the pill, but I was emotionally better off on it...as long as it was the right one! Talk to your doctor, they are going to be the best resource!

go to your doctor and see if he can change the type of pill you are on sometimes your body cannot accept the hormone that is in the pill and a lighter one or different might be better for you .I had to try several before i found the one that was right for me .But dont go off till you speak with your doctor .Good luck and it will get better

I was on the pill for ten yrs. It gave me mood swings after about 5 yrs so i decided to opt for another brand. My Dr changed it to a different brand but same ingredients. It helped a bit but i decided to come off it to get pregnant. Go see your dr or family planning clinic.

If you've been on the same brand for 4 years i would look at what else could be causing it. If your going to have an adverse reaction it will happen in the first few months.

I just changed pills. As you get older your body and hormones change. Ask your doctor to change yours and see what happens. You may need to try several kinds to find what will work best with your body now.

You may want to call your OB and get your pills changed. It's good to change them every once in awhile, because your body gets used to them and stops reacting like it should. Good Luck!
